Who: Members of the Spokane
Shock Rockstar Dance Team are holding a "Necessities Drive" to benefit the YWCA's "Our Sister's Closet" program. When: Saturday July 17th and Sunday July 18th from 9 AM - 2 PM Where: Albertsons in the Valley - 8851 E. Trent Ave (on the corner of Trent and Argonne) --------------------- Backgrounder: "Our Sister's Closet" provides low-income women with clothes for work, interviews, and vocational training. They serve a diverse population who come from domestic violence, substance abuse rehab, and other life crisis situations. Women receive advice on appropriate fit, daily attire, and job interview skills. They also offer access to the other community services provided at YWCA. Items needed for the necessity drive include: -Toothpaste -Shampoo and conditioner -Hair ties and hair brushes -Make-up -Lotion -Body Wash -Deodorant -Face Wash
